First elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012, Peters is seeking his fourth term to represent California’s 52nd Congressional district which encompasses the cities of Poway, Coronado and most of the City of San Diego. Peters, a Democrat, serves on the House Energy & Commerce and Veterans Affairs Committees. During his time in public service, he’s earned support from across the political spectrum for his pragmatic, problem-solving approach.
