Between now and Election Day, the Scott Peters for Congress campaign will release a series of videos counting down 10 reasons to send Rep. Peters back to Congress. The videos will feature San Diegans and nationally recognized figures talking about how Rep. Peters has delivered for San Diego and emerged as a leader in Congress on issues that matter.
The first video, available here, features former President of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, former small business owner, and civic leader Nikki Clay calling Rep. Peters and his wife, Lynn Gorguze, “the DNA of San Diego.” Clay says that in addition to being a strong advocate for San Diego in Congress, Peters is an active contributor to the community who has given his time and energy to improving San Diego.
“Rep. Peters is a longtime San Diegan who is committed to service and making a difference in his community and the country,” said Jacob Peters, Communications Director for Scott Peters for Congress. “San Diegans will describe in their own words what Rep. Peters’ leadership in Congress has meant to them and how his accomplishments have helped San Diego. In an election year marred by negativity on the national level, this will be a positive closing argument from the Scott Peters campaign.”
The videos will be uploaded to the Scott Peters for Congress Facebook and Youtube pages, and will be viewable together in a Youtube playlist.
