Rep. Scott Peters Backed for Re-Election by Vietnamese-American Leaders

San Diego – On the heels of joining thousands of San Diegans at the Vietnamese Tet Festival in Mira Mesa this weekend, Rep. Scott Peters is proud to announce the names of dozens of Vietnamese-American community leaders – Democrats and Republicans – who are backing his re-election campaign. 

“The Tet Festival this weekend was a spectacular and festive celebration of the vibrant Vietnamese-American community that thrives in the center of the 52nd district,” Peters said. “It was an honor to participate again in this year’s ceremonies and to see so many children, adults, and seniors join together to celebrate timeless traditions of the Vietnamese culture.”  

Mira Mesa is located in the center of California’s 52nd Congressional district. Peters participated in the Tet Festival ceremonies on Saturday afternoon.

 Congressman Scott Peters represents California’s 52nd Congressional District, which encompasses the cities of Poway, Coronado and most of San Diego.
