Rep. Peters’ Statement on Ongoing Bernardo/4S Fire

SAN DIEGO, CA – This afternoon, U.S. Congressman Scott Peters (CA-52) released the following statement regarding the ongoing Bernardo / 4S Fire burning in San Diego County:

“Many residents of my congressional district have been notified of the need to evacuate their homes as a result of today’s wildfire in the Black Mountain and 4S Ranch areas. I strongly urge everyone to please be on alert for fire department instructions and to fully cooperate in order to protect yourselves, your families, and our fire fighters. My office has been in contact with the City of San Diego Fire Department to offer any support and assistance when it is needed. Residents can visit my Twitter feed or Facebook page for more updates as they become available. I will continue to stay apprised and will be keeping everyone affected in my thoughts.”
